The Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence, Italy, was finished building and consecrated in 1442. It belonged to the Franciscan Order of the Roman Catholic Church. In 1866 the Basilica became public property and it currently houses a Leather School in one of its wings, where the public can view leather artisans at work.

Some of the artists whose work remains there: Giorgio Vasari, Donatello, Santi di Tito, and Bernardo Russellino.

Some of the people buried there: Galileo Galilei, Niccolo Machiavelli, Michelangelo Buonarroti, and Lorenzo Ghiberti.

I started collecting vintage postcards a couple of years ago. I hope you love them as much as I do!

Each order comes with a bonus random card from my collection.
