I wish my photography skills were a fraction as good as Claire's artistic talents! it's difficult to see how incredibly amazing the painting is. The colors, the texture, the quality- all above the bar that we set! We are so in love with this and Duke can't stop staring at himself! It looks great on the wall. Claire was exceptionally communicative and easy to work with and I highly recommend her!

Specifications

May include: A watercolour painting of a husky dog with brown eyes and a pink tongue sticking out. The dog is looking to the right of the image. The background is a green watercolour wash.

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting! From a photo you provide to me, I will hand-paint a beautiful portrait of your pet or pets and capture your pet's unique and special personality. This is the perfect gift for any occasion for yourself or for the dog lover in your life!

The finished hand-painted and hand-embellished custom work of art will be mailed to you on your choice of a stretched gallery-wrapped canvas or a beautiful hand-made rustic wooden frame. Both come ready to hang and include the wire and a hanger. As a special bonus, I will also email a high-resolution digital copy of your pet's portrait to you for no extra charge and you can use the file to make stickers, shirts, cards, prints, or whatever you wish to use it for! If you don't need the physical canvas, you can also opt to purchase the digital file only.

Each and every brushstroke of the art I create is painted by hand (by me) digitally, without the use of computer software, programs, or apps. My designs truly come from the heart. I love the flexibility working digitally provides to me and it allows for maximum creativity. The process of painting in this manner is exactly the same as painting on canvas or paper, but I paint on a drawing tablet instead of a canvas and my brushes are digital instead of wooden. Zoom into a photo on this listing to see the individual detail I put into each piece! Once the artwork is complete and approved by you, I transfer it onto an archival canvas with archival ink, and then more of the magic happens. I hand-embellish the artwork using paint to further enhance the brushstrokes and add additional depth and beauty to the piece. There is a huge and definite difference between my art and a flat art print. The UV topcoat will also preserve your art for years to come. My art is truly original, eye-catching, and the result is beautiful and one-of-a-kind. I guarantee that you will be 100% satisfied and love the result!

I will work closely with you to produce a completely unique and fun portrait that you will love to display or give as a thoughtful gift to your friends and family. A little about me - I am a professionally trained artist and my creativity stems from my personal love of all animals and shines through to the finished artwork.  I own (or they own me) fifteen Siberian Husky sled dogs, who are all house dogs at night, two amazing horses, two cats, six chickens, and a lovely overweight goat. Living in beautiful Bend, Oregon also provides the perfect backdrop for my creativity.

The ordering process is simple and I am here for you if you have any questions:

1. Decide on the number of pets you would like to have in the painting and then chose the size of the painting you would like to receive. The gallery-wrapped canvas option has a depth 1.5 inches deep which is perfect for display and comes ready to hang. The lovely rustic wooden frame option is approximately (because of sanding) 1.75 inches wide and also comes ready to hang. I will also email a digital copy of the completed painting to you for FREE!  You can alternatively choose to purchase ONLY the digital file of the artwork. If you choose this option, no physical product will be shipped to you. I will send you the images by email once the art is completed and you can work directly with your print shop to print the art on whatever you choose!

2. Decide which background style you would like and the color theme you would like to have. Indicate your preferences in the comments section. If you choose a landscape background, send me a separate photo if necessary with your thoughts! If you would like the artwork to be personalized with your pet's name or anything else, just let me know. Undecided? No worries! I will work with you for a perfect final result.

3. Send me the photo you would like to use through Etsy Messages. I will let you know if I need additional information once I see the photo. If you have any questions at all, I'm here to answer; we can work together to make the art absolutely perfect! Also, if you can, provide me with a little background information about the pet so I can learn a bit about your pet's personality and individuality!  Each dog has a special story to tell, and knowing their background helps me compose the painting.  Also, I am a true believer that the eyes of your pet are so important to be able to truly capture their spirit - a clear photo of your pet's eyes will really help me, even if it's from a separate photo. Please refer to the photo guide in this listing to ensure the very best results.

4. Once the artwork is complete, I will contact you and email a proof to you to approve before sending the art to print on the canvas. Your 100% satisfaction with your art is my only goal and I am definitely willing to revise the artwork within reason.

My only goal is to ensure you are 100% satisfied with the final result!

Hand painting takes a lot of time and it normally takes about one week for me to complete an original artwork, but if you need the item to be completed within a certain time frame, please convo me and I will work with your deadlines as best as I can!
