A stoneware mug from my new botanical series, this one features vintage illustrations of one of my favorites the Rudbeckia species, commonly known as black-eyed-susans or coneflowers .

Thrown on my potters wheel from a white stoneware clay, the mug is glazed is a soft winter white on the outside, and a deep forest green inside t inside . The glazes are of course lead free and food safe.

The botanical images are from Britton, N.L., and A. Brown - An illustrated flora of the northern United States, Canada and the British Possessions published in 1913. They were permanently applied with a third firing.

- Holds approximately 15 ounces
- Food Safe and Lead free
- Dishwasher and Microwave friendly

I signed the bottom with my studio name “Just Mare”.
