Art on Water papers are hand marbled by me in Ottawa, Canada. They are excellent for bookbinding (grain long), collage, origami, scrap-booking and other paper crafts.

The featured pattern is French Curl over a Stone pattern.

The first image is a detailed shot. The second is a scan of the actual sheet you'll receive.

• Sheet size: 9"x12"

• Paper weight: 50 lb text

• Paint: Acrylic on carrageenan size

• Grain: long

• Paper color: white

• Acidity: pH neutral (acid free)

Each sheet is copyrighted by the artist and may not be reprinted without permission

9"x12" size papers will be shipped to you flat in a large card-stock envelope to prevent bending during shipment. 19"x25" size papers are shipped rolled in a tube. If you purchase both large and small sizes and wishes to combine shipping, your papers will all be rolled together and shipped to you in a tube. Unless you give me specific instructions to cut them down to 9"x12", you'll pay the shipping rate for the larger size.

Shipping additional papers are FREE within the same order, so whether you order 1 sheet or 10 sheets shipping cost is the same to your location. Be sure to check out my other papers before checkout.

I apologize that I cannot offer lower shipping rates. I do not make any profit from shipping the papers. Unfortunately shipping from Canada is expensive. I hope to save you some money by offering FREE COMBINED SHIPPING of additional papers within the same order.

Paper Marbling is an ancient art of painting on a aqueous base. The colors are dropped on to the surface using whisks, then they are manipulated with rakes and combs to create the intricate designs you see here. Unlike traditional print-making, marbling can only be done one sheet at a time, therefore each sheet is unique and an exact copy cannot be reproduced.
