1860s Civil War Era Victorian Lavender Print Bodice
This late 1860 - 1864 hand sewn lavender and white cotton print bodice has a lovely wide open neckline and full bishop sleeves. The front and back of the bodice both have gathered center sections. The dropped shoulders have the piped arms eye of the period. The full bishop sleeves are set on with beautiful gathers at the armholes and cuffs. The bodice is lined in a fitted cotton twill that has boned darts and sides. Center back closure with hooks amd metal loops.

Condition: Very Good. There are spots as shown on the full sleeves and fading and wear at the shoulders as shown. There are thread remains at the waist where a skirt was attached.
