1920's
Tiny Leatherette Boots with Ribbon laces and Homemade Butterfly

The boots are paper with a leather-like finish and tiny holes that are grayed around the edges giving the impression of shoe eyes.

The Butterfly seems to be made of layers of bright red napkin that has been painted with gold dots. The tiny clothespin body has also been painted with gold paint. Twisted wire forms the antennae.

These two little toys were found in a box of keepsakes with belonged to a farm child in the 1920's. They can be used for:
Play
Craft/Art supplies
Scrapbooking
Card-making

* From a farm child's collection of keepsakes. Her name was W.B.
