This very well-made pin/pendant is marked with a feather, Joe Willeto, and Sterling, and it comes with a sturdy chain. Mr. Willeto is a Navajo who has been making silver jewelry for more than 20 years, and the excellent workmanship of this piece reflects that. The bear is a symbol of strength and leadership in many Native American cultures, and the sun face with the streaks falling from its eyes represents rain, which was always so important to the Southwestern tribes. This piece is in very good condition with no damage, and it could be worn by either a man or a woman.

The pin/pendant is 1 1/4 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide, and its silver chain is 20 inches long. The entire piece weighs 22 grams, and it would make a great addition to the jewelry collection of anyone who loves the jewelry and symbolism of the Southwest.

I also currently have a belt buckle done in silver by Joe Willeto with the same remarkable design and quality -
