This is the same loom I use to make my trivets. Hand made one at a time in USA with quality materials. Should last a lifetime! The frame is made from one piece maple plywood and has thirty-six hardwood pegs. I truly believe it to be the finest loom of it kind to be found anywhere and I am pleased to be the exclusive distributor of them. It is 3/4" thick and has a really smooth finish. The pegs are also smooth and slightly rounded on top making it a pleasure to use. The hexagon measures 12" across and about 13 1/2" point to point. The trivets I make come out to be 10 1/2" across and 12" point to point. Two of the photos above show what the loom looks like with a trivet in progress. If you want to know how to weave these trivets, my instruction book is available as well as the shuttle I use to make the ties. Also check out my complete weaving kit for big savings!
