Made in the 1950s by Jr. Theme - New York, this coat is definitely a classic. The coat flares throughout its length, perfect for a full-skirted dress, or just for dramatic comings and goings. From a thread-burn test, I believe the fabric is acetate, and in a fairly heavy weight and semi-lustrous, like a peau de soie. The lining is very crisp rayon taffeta...and yes, it does rustle quite nicely! The coat fastens just at the neckline, with one big covered button, along with a hidden button and loop and a hidden snap. The buttonhole is tailored. The sleeves are short and wide, great with long gloves.

Condition: Just dry cleaned and in very, very good condition with no obvious issues at all.

Size: Likely to work for a pretty wide range of sizes. The coat was designed to be very full, with the shoulder width probably the most fitted part.

Side seam to side seam measured across the back at bust level-24"
Side seam to side seam measured across the back at hip level-31.5"
Side seam to side seam measured across the back at hem-45"
Back of neck to hem-41"
Shoulder to shoulder-15.5"

Please note: I measure the dimension of the item itself, and you will need to consider what size you would want the item to be to fit well on you.
