This lovely 30 piece lot of Franciscan Ware by Gladding/ McBean & Co., California USA was manufactured in the 1940s.

The pattern is called Coronado or Coronado Swirl. The color is a beautiful softly muted coral, a matte finish. I think the color is a light salmon.

My Aunt Betty and I were looking at a little vintage store and came across this set. We were both smitten and agreed that our favorite piece was the covered butter dish with its sweetly swirled top.

Set includes:
6 dinner plates
8 saucers
7 tea cups
1 serving bowl
1 serving platter
Butter dish (2 pieces)
Sugar Bowl (I believe there was once a lid, but now missing)
Salt and Pepper

Entire set is in wonderful vintage condition. It does look as though it was well loved. There are some untensil marks on the plates. In addition, 2 of the dinner plates have a chip on the side. Small chip on underside of butter dish (plate part-see pic #1). Hairline fracture on one of the teacups. Very faint, holds water, appears a fine gray line.

All dished have been gently washed and are ready for your (lovely!) table.

Shipping in domestic US only. This set is very heavy and will be double boxed with bubble wrap. Shipping charges in excess of $2.00 will be refunded.

From smoke free home.
