This set of prayer beads is made of Carnelian and navy blue wood beads, with a naturally stained wooden cross that is simply designed to suit either men or women as a spiritually inspired gift.

All my prayer beads are sold with a brochure containing a history and explanation of the rosary and a small sampling of prayers to get you started.

Anglican Prayer beads were developed by Episcopalians in the 1980s as the result of a group studying prayer. While developed by Episcopalians, they can be used by anyone seeking a centering help for prayer.

A bead set consists of a cross, an 'invitatory' bead that welcomes you into the circle of prayer, four 'cruciform' beads that draw a cross through the center of the circle, and 4 sets of 7 beads called the 'week' beads. There are 33 beads total, signifying the life of Christ. The number seven represents wholeness of your faith, the days of creation, and the season of the Church year.
