This is a really nice piece of old paper advertising ephemera. This bookmark shows a scantily clad beautiful Victorian lady looking wistfully to one side out of an ornate Art Nouveau frame. In actual fact this piece is slightly risque for its time as she is showing rather a lot of decolage.

The bookmark was given away free with Yale Coffee which was made by the Steinwender-Stoffregen Coffee Co, in St Louise MO which was awarded the highest award at the World's Fair in St Louise in 1904.

Measuring 6" x 2 1/4" for its age it is in remarkably nice condition. It does have a corner bend and a small water mark on the back with buffing to the edges and is still very useable.
