An adorable miniature book full of stories and illustrations of country pets, perfect for any collector. Though the title page is missing, my research found that it was published in 1881 by the American Tract Society and written by S. Annie Frost. Part of "The Tiny Library", this 176-page book is volume 3 of 4. There are wonderful illustrations of country animals and children. It is cloth bound and has a lithographed bouquet of flowers affixed to the cover. Measures a very petite 1 3/4" by 2 1/2". Full of age and character, there is wear to the cover including a tiny rip at the top of the binding, browning to the pages, and a slight musty odor.
