About the Diaper Liners:
Place the soy silk side up into any cloth (or regular disposable diaper) at the first sign of diaper rash redness and/or irritation, or if your child has sensitive skin. The flannel backing is meant to prevent slipping in the diaper as the soy silk is SILKY soft! Just convo me for customization (size, color material etc.)

Set of 4 Soy Silk- 53% silk & 47% soy liners
The soy silk is natural color--no bleach or dye
2-Ply, one side is soy silk and the other side is flannel
4 stich serged edges to prevent fraying
Pre washed--prior to sewing (using Charlie's Soap). Pre-shrunk
Somewhat oval shape measuring approximately 5x12

These soy silk liners are great for those looking for an alternative to the raw silk "feel" but want the benefit of the antibacterial, anti-fungal, hypoallergenic qualities of raw silk.

About Soy Silk

Soy fiber is made from the residue of soybeans from tofu manufacturing. This process is 100-percent natural and free of any petrochemicals, making it an extremely environmentally friendly product. Soy is a completely renewable resource – coming from the earth and being wholly biodegradable.

Soy protein fiber promotes health with it's unique natural health functions. Soy silk fiber possesses amino acids essential for the human body. "Vegetable cashmere" is rich with 45% protein content in the fiber. It is said to contain 18 kinds of active minerals which aid in bio-chemistry when naturally absorbed through the skin. Soy silk is also said to:

Contain natural anti-bacterial agents which can restrain the growth of certain types of bacteria and is therefore considered a very sanitary fiber
Has the softness and smoothness of cashmere
The fiber is beautiful to look at and has excellent wearability
Has the same moisture absorption as cotton but with better moisture transmission, making it more comfortable and sanitary
Provides better ventilation than cotton
Higher breaking strength than wool, cotton or silk
Warmth retention like wool

The liners are meant to be used as a substitute for diaper rash cream or all the time for babies with sensitive skin. Change the liner with each diaper change. If possible, wash the liners separately in cool to warm water. Heat destroys proteins! Do not use a product that contains alkaline to clean these liners. Alkaline can strip the helpful soy proteins from the liners. Charlie's soap or other gentle cloth diaper cleaner will most likely be fine (read the ingredients first!).

Convo me for a custom order for quantity or for a sample of the fabrics before you buy.
