BLACK-NECKED GREBE by Edward Donovan, 1795.

original antique bookplate

double-sided book page

this item is 70 years old

The book print is from a circa 1942 publication. The other side has an equally beautiful illustration entitled "Woodlark" by GeorgeGraves, 1821. The paper has a small imperfection which looks as if it was there originally (see image), hardly noticeable and easier to see on the Woodlark side - it is a little thickening in the paper.

Either side could be framed for a delightful antique bird portrait.

total bookpage measures 8 3/4" x 6"

Comes in a clear archival sleeve, protected with firm cardboard and in a sturdy envelope. It will come in such a way that it can be casually displayed without a need to frame. It can sit on a cupboard/leaning against a wall as the firm cardboard will support it and the clear sleeve protect it.
