40 (forty) hand punched metal disks from VINTAGE salvaged materials.

I can't resist a good chunk of metal. I especially like sheets of stuff I can cut and piece together.
Since I have way too much 'sheet', I am sharing. So for the outsider artist, the recycling addict or found object lover I offer these ready-to-use embellishments.

From old tin toy parts, tags, metal tins, a kitchen gadgets and various display plates. Every piece was headed for the landfill. Every piece is vintage from something old, worn out or broken. Some have chippy paint, a bit of rust or a waffled surface. Some are shiny new looking.

I hand punch each disc and the hole, then smooth any rough edges. EACH piece is meticulously hand filed until I can feel no sharpness with my finger.

Various sizes from 3/8 - 1" (9-25 mm) and various colors.
The photos are examples of just some of what I have had available. You will get an assortment of forty pieces that will probably include:

at least 5 with writing (partial words, letters or numbers)
metallic colors (aluminum, copper, brass and steel - plain and textured)
paper thin, white from aluminum blinds.
holey stainless or aluminum, maybe screen
tin in assorted colors as I have them and other misc patterns and pictures.

All have 1/16 - 1/8" holes for hanging, located near an edge. Little ones sometimes land in the middle 'cause they are hard for me to see. If the piece already had a hole or rivet, I let it stay as is. Some are from tin toys and may have slots and tabs. As I use pieces up, I pull others from the pile in my barn, so what I'm working with is constantly changing. No two assortments are ever exactly alike. I do try to include a couple matching pairs in each order but sometimes I forget.

I have many different materials produced by both obscure / defunct companies and older, well established brands still in business today. I make the cuts to exclude identifiable ™ trade-names and ® recognizable logos or graphic designs. So you won't get the Planter's Peanut guy but you may get a blue one or a partial peanut picture one. No Coca Cola © or such. I stay away from that. I'm confident you can use these without any worry about copyright infringement.

Obviously these are great dangles for jewelry or cool scrapbooking embellishments.

Other specialty vintage and non-vintage scrap metal discs can be found elsewhere in my shop!. I can also make these without holes. I have a different price scale for custom orders of sets; based on color, theme or pairs. Got something else special in mind? Convo me.

100% pure scrap
Let's save the earth... one disc at a time.
