Faerie Spun Dreads ~ light as a feather, candyfloss tendrils!

Double ended wool dreads that are ready to be cinched in the middle with an elastic and turned into a pony fall ~ or ~ braided/woven/felted/looped into the hair and worn along with your own natural dreadlocks. Wool dreads are very lightweight and just as washable and lasting as your own dreads!

*These are not yarn falls... they are hand felted with a technique I developed for a gorgeous swirled effect around a strong, durable lofty core! They have been tested by my daughter Rowan for dance-whippability and passed with flying colors! Literally! lol...

I am a fibers artist and hand dye all of my own fiber... be it wool top or farm wools. It is the same, high-quality wool and fibers that I use in my spinning and fiber art! All rustic faerie spun dreads are hand carded and blended on my drum carder and each set is very unique. I prefer a wild, rustic and more natural look to the dreads, so lengths within each set will vary!

quantity: 35
length: 34" to 40"
colors: bnutmeg, sunshine yellow, purple, pansy, teal
fiber content: merino, firestar, silk, bl, and afghan thread waste
care instructions: hand wash, air dry
weight: 3.8oz

How to wear/install dreadlocks:

You can wear them all together or as many as you like at a time in a pony fall. You can also use bobby pins or small elastics and place them in a braid or throughout your hair... braid or loop (slipknot) them into the roots for a more secure installation. There is enough in the listing to get creative and play around with! These can also be cut to a desired length and turned into a single ended dreadlock by making a loop at the top and securing it with thread. There are a lot of tutorials on youtube if you look up wool dreads or synthetic dreads.

I also have a pinboard for inspiration that I am constantly adding images to pinterest.com/pumpkinhaus/lock-mania/
