Title: “Painting 180"
Artist: Lauren Adams

Listed above is an original painting done in exploration and preparation for a larger canvas. Inspired by the West Virginia landscape. The molding paste creates great texture against the bold acrylic brushwork.

* Painted on canva paper with acrylic paint, molding paste and colored pencil
* All materials of archival quality
* Measures 6"L x 4.5 "W
* Signed and numbered on the back
* Comes with an artist brochure
* Would look great framed!

An inexpensive way to incorporate original artwork to any interior - lively and beautiful. Great for anyone looking to begin collecting art or to add to an existing collection. Also, all the works on paper work well when displayed together!

This listing includes the first image, unframed.

...............Artist Statement.................
"My work is inspired by my home; by the lush hills and glittering rivers that drew my ancestors from their own mountainous regions of remote lands to settle in this place, their new home, now my home - West Virginia.

I revel in the act of painting; utilizing a combination of thin veils of color and thick oil paint to create a dialogue between intuitive painting and my background in working en plein aire. The feeling of place that is established through texture, color and rhythm is essential to that dialogue. Simplicity is pursued as I break down the landscape to its purest form, portraying its true essence."
- Lauren Adams
