This squirrel is happy munching away on an acorn while casting an speculative glance your way – any chance you've got a bag of peanuts somewhere on you? He's hand drawn and hand printed on brown kraft colored 100lb card stock in forest green ink and comes with a moss green envelope with an acorn printed in green on the flap.

On the back of the card is printed the following description:
Gray Squirrel
Sciurus carolinensis

Squirrels have keen eye sight and four fingers on their front paws and five toes on their back ones. A very accurate spatial memory allows them to make (and find again) as many as several thousand separate food stashes stocked up for the lean months. Occasionally when food stocks get scarce, squirrels migrate in large numbers from one area to another in search of better provisions.

The Pennsylvania Dutch believe it is a sign of a hard winter coming if the local squirrels tails and coats look extra furry and thick in the fall. In early American needlework samplers squirrels were embroidered into images of the Garden of Eden as a symbol of mischief.
