I was thrilled to see one of these tins displayed in the Victoria and Albert Museum on a recent trip! This trapezoidal biscuit tin was made in England and held William Crawford and Sons biscuits. The lid is hinged and fits tightly to keep your cookies moist. The tin is worn from years of handling but still shows its strikingly handsome design. About 6.25" tall and 4" across on each side. A neat piece for tin collectors or just a place to keep that special collection of small treasures!

SHIPPING: OMG, why is it so much??? First and most importantly, please know that I will do my best to see you pay no more than necessary. I don't like paying or charging high shipping fees. But here's why the listed amount is so high:
> I don't hide shipping costs in the item price.
> Etsy's current method of calculating shipping charges makes me use "worst case" figures for each country and item, especially in the case of multiple purchases.
> Canada is higher on postage than the US and the rate jumps severely as weight increases. However, BUYING MORE THAN ONE ITEM AT A TIME OFTEN SAVES YOU MONEY because I’ve become pretty handy at packing lots of stuff safely into a box and thereby reduce your shipping cost per item.
As always, once I do the calculations for your finished package, I gladly refund any shipping overpayment greater than $3 -- the point where it makes sense considering the PayPal fees.

I am also always happy to work with International buyers who have a CONFIRMED PAYPAL ADDRESS– please convo me with your shipping address and I’ll give you a shipping cost.
