This is made with size 8 green iris seed beeds and size 11 gold seed beads in a daisy chain pattern. The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2 inches and hangs beautifully from the wrist. The clasp is a loop and toggle clasp and the bracelet is put together with Fireline Beading Thread and doubled at the clasps for durability.

Seed bead history: About 4,000 years ago, Egyptians used small seed beads to adorn clothing and furnishings, including items that were discovered in King Tut's tomb. Seed beads for bead work in the modern era began in Venice, Italy, when glass makers developed a way to form tubes of glass to make into beads.
