Oh! Oh! I don't think the bug has a chance. This web and large fierce looking spider are out to get anything that gets caught in the fine silk threads.

The spider web is made with copper rods and copper wire soldered together. Five glass green leaves are soldered to the web as well. The large spider is painted before being soldered in place. So we know what that means for the bug. Silk threads or copper wire, he's a goner soldered to the web with no way of escape.

The spider web is 9 1/2 X 5 1/4 ( 24.13cm X 13.34cm )

The large spider is 3 inches from side to side and 2 3/4 inches front to back ( 7.62 X 6.95cm )

The web has been stained with copper patina on the solder points.

The spider has been painted with gloss enamel paint in the colors of dark brown and white while the bug is yellow, white and black.

I soldered a ring of copper at the point of hanging though if you want to place the web at a different angel you could just hang using the open parts.

Hang inside in a window or on a wall. Hang outside in summer on a porch. It will definitely get a lot of attention.
