These pillow covers were sent home from the service barracks to family members, girlfriends, and friends. This pillow cover is from Fort Knox, Kentucky.
The blue satin is still vibrant, though there are redish markings through out. the yellow printing and flowers is felted, so it feels fuzzy. the fringe is all there and it's a yellow and reddish color. the back is taupe satin.
The pillow measures about 18 inches square, with out adding in the 2inch fringe. One end of the pillowcase is open, there's no way to close it, I'd suggest basting the cover onto the pillow. I'd also suggest handwashing only.
The pillow inside the case is not for sale, i just photographed it that way cause it looked nicer.
I used to have seven or eight of these on a vintage sofa, it was a striking collection.
