Wonderfully pretty yarn bowl for knitting in my signature glaze combination, roasted bronze green. The soft matte finish has hints of metallic coppery bronze along the rim (hard to photo the metallics, best seen in the last picture) that has peeked through the kiwi skin and copper green glazes as they flow down the sides.

There is an open slot along with a closed hole, giving you the choice of which way you thread and feed your yarn out of the bowl. A rim notch for nesting your hook or needles, and 3 of my handmade color coordinated, maple leaf shaped buttons, are attached to the bowl with bits of twine, it looks so cute and makes for a perfect gift presentation. But don't let that stop you from removing and using them in an upcoming project. That's what the buttons are meant for! A 4th button is included attached to a gift card as a bonus!

A notch out in the side for resting needles or hooks is also incorporated along with perpendicular needle holes to place the points through.

Measures 5 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" tall. Some warping to the slot opening (normal) which lends itself to allowing the yarn ball to rotate without catching if you place the yarn inside so that it unwinds turning in a clockwise direction. The yarn ball shown in picture is a lofty 5" diameter.

Made from stoneware clay and signed on the bottom.
