This is an old set of Victorian Trade Cards that are all dated with a copyright date of 1924. These cards were an advertisement for the Church & Cos. Arm and Hammer baking soda. Each one of these little lithographed cards has the artist's signiture and the date. The artist for this set was Louis Agassia Fuertes. Each card also has a description of the bird along with advertising printed on the back. Each one of these cards measure approx. 2" x 3". This is a complete set of cards. They are in good condition with some yellowing from age. The set is the 4th Series and is titled Useful Birds of America. These cards all have different water fowl on them. I have 5 complete sets that I am putting in my shop, along with a large number of Misc. trade cards that are not a complete set. Please check out my store for more of these wonderful little works of art.
