This is a circa late 1950s Cartier sterling silver pillbox, marked Cartier and Sterling as well as a center mark I do not know as shown on the side. It is a rectangle, engine turned with a space for a monogram in the center front. The interior has a gold wash; the number '24' is stamped as shown. Snaps closed via a small tab on either side, suitable for a man or a woman. Holds aspirin-sized pills nicely. Measures 1" wide by 1 3/4" long. US shipping includes insurance.
