This lovely and shabby tin box used to be for candies. Very special edition designed for the first journeys to space with cosmonauts Yuri Gagarin and Gherman Titov (he remains the youngest person to fly in space). G. Titov became the second human to orbit the Earth aboard Vostok 2 (6 August 1961), preceded by Yuri Gagarin on Vostok 1 (12 April 1961). These two dates are written on the tin box.
The tin box is still colorful and would display nicely. Measures in diameter: 4,9" (12,5 cm).
Year: 1962
Made in USSR
