Pretty little chatelaine dating to the early 1900's. It is made from pale pink silk ribbon and bone rings woven together to create a chain with decorative ribbon bows at each end. At the bottom there is a bone ribbon threader, bone bodkin, a pair of silver scissors (marked "Germany, Whatcheer") and an interesting celluloid finger guard/thimble. There is a safety pin attached to the back for securing to a sewing apron. Overall length is 8". It is in good condition with minimal wear to the ribbons...they are soft and supple with no dry rot. You may see a tiny split or two but the chain is strong. Charming little notion for your antique sewing box!
