Vintage brooch art deco jade and marcasite silver tone pin from 1920-30's. Very beautiful rectangular with rounded corners and geometric cut-out circles intersected by straight pieces, creating a very pleasing design. An inner rectangle of jade has three initials "RVA" in marcasite placed on top and framed by another rectangle of marcasite. For me, the initials stand for "Real Vintage Addict", since I do not personally know anyone with RVA as their initials.
The outer frame of the brooch has small jade baguette dimensional pieces all the way around with 5 each across top and bottom, and 3 down the sides, although the left top one is missing as seen in photo 1. It measures just under 1 3/4" across and 1 1/4" tall.
It's a lovely, old piece with a lovely vintage patina, and in good condition for it's age.
