SUBJECT: How can we not wonder what became of them, this beautiful, beautiful pair? This is a simply gorgeous BW silver gelatin portrait, circa late 1940s or early 1950s, stamped Tiffany Studio, Washington, D.C., on the back. The more than a thousand words captured here make any further from me unnecessary.

HORSE NOTES: Love the loose-ring snaffle bit and soft, classic bridle, the felt saddle pad, the braided mane on the horse, and love just as much her beautiful jodhpurs and man's shirt with rolled-up sleeves. Altogether elegance that can't be faked, in either of them.

ITEM DETAILS: This original vintage BW silver gelatin print photograph was developed on heavy photo paper and measures 8 x 10 inches. It is in excellent condition, with two minor creases in the white margin border, and otherwise free of flaws, stains or blemishes.

SHIPPING & HANDLING: Paper items are wrapped with care in acid-free sleeves, placed between two pieces of cardboard and shipped in secure packaging within two business days of purchase.

VINTAGE: All vintage and antique items have unique histories and are offered for sale in exactly the condition they were found. They are sold “AS IS.”
