Dramatic 1950s or early 1960s 100% acetate satin evening topper features large bell sleeves, bust darts and a loose fit. Closes at center front with a hook, eye and snap combination. Pockets on each side seam. Color is more raspberry than these photos indicate.

Labeled: Jean of California 100% Acetate
Also: Nicholas Ungar

Ungar's was an upscale women's clothing store here in Portland, Oregon. Ungar's was so opulent it even had a perfume fountain in the foyer.

While not a set, this topper goes well with this 1950s Gigi Young Dress:

Measurements

I do not pin clothing on models, but prefer instead to show you my garments on people they actually fit. Sanjna's measurements are 34-28-38. This garment is loose fitting and will fit a variety of small and medium sizes.

-Bust: Up to 42"
-Shoulder to Shoulder: 14"
-Sleeve length: 15"
-Length from shoulder to hem: 40"

Condition

Very Good condition rating a 7 out of 10. There is a very small snag to the fabric on the back between the shoulder darts. A faint dark mark 10" above the hem on the left side of the garment. It is not visible in photos, only under close scrutiny.

If you like this topper, you may also enjoy the outerwear in both my shops:
