Art Nouveau Locket with Repousse Starling in Grape Arbor, c. 1880-1910
Gold-plated copper
Provenance: found in Texas

A charming gold-plated art nouveau locket with a repousse bird flying through a grape arbor. A beautiful, sentimental old piece, elegantly engraved on the back: "W to E." Very unusual design and style; few lockets have such an elaborate back panel or sigh a high relief pattern. Gorgeous.

Hinged opening; original photos and glass removed.
