I don't notice any defects on this item from its use, but keep in mind that it is vintage. In manufacturing pottery, the clay and the glaze may not be totally smooth. That is a normal condition. I have included two views that show the bottom of the bowl. It has the "dry ring" of white or ivory underneath the bowl, a sign that it was made by an American company during this time in history. The words read: Mar-crest, Oven-Proof, Stoneware, and USA.
The bowl measures approximately 3 1/2" high and 8 x 9 3/4" inches across the top opening.

It is difficult to estimate shipping charges. In the event that shipping charges vary from what I anticipate, I am happy to refund the excess charge if it is $1.50 or more over the actual cost. I do that through PayPal.
