Fantasy weapons are a big part of Sci-Fi and Steampunk. Ray Guns, Blasters, Phasers all fire the imagination.

This weapon, of my design, is a beauty. Full of detail and fanciful components it is sure to impress Sci-Fi fans, Steampunk enthusiasts and geeks of all sorts (or anyone who appreciates highly detailed classic styling).

It is perfect for fantasy military costumes and makes just the right accent for steampunk costumes of all sorts.

ALSO

Wear it on every day outfits. Its classic styling makes it perfect for dress up and casual of all sorts. Think lapel, collar, hat, jacket, bag ... wherever a special accent is desired.

This piece is solid BRASS. It is a double tac pin and comes with two clutch backs.

It makes a great gift for the SteamPunker or Sci-Fi fan, or geek in your life.
It comes in a box as shown, ready for gifting.

It is a limited edition. Each is signed by the artist and numbered. Only 1000 will ever be made. It measures about 2 1/4 inch (5.7 cm) long.

I also make this design in Sterling Silver in an edition of 100. Find that here: www.etsy.com/listing/213707561/blaster-long-gun-sci-fi-steampunk

Many of my pieces have stories associated with them. This piece represents “the weapon that took the life of heroic Captain Giles Magnus”. It is one of several pieces from the story of the conflict between the Pirates of the Central Coast Region and Central Coast Marine Militia which was formed to drive them out. To read more, visit my blog at: http://steamsmithworks.blogspot.com/ - scroll WAY DOWN to December 2009 “SteamSmith history - Pirates of the Central Coast part 1” to begin the story.

Mark Eliot Schwabe has deep Sci Fi roots; especially Star Wars and Star Trek. In the 1990’s he was asked to sculpt miniature versions of many Star Wars “vehicles”. Works included the Millennium Falcon, the X Wing fighter, the Death Star and many more. These sculptures were used as “masters” for the production of pewter miniatures manufactured by Rawcliffe Pewter under license from Lucas Film. Schwabe was twice invited to Skywalker Ranch to meet with Lucas Film staff to discuss his work. He also sculpted many Star Trek pieces for Rawcliffe.
