I know its a shame to list this red cape for spring, but I began this cloak a few month ago and the inspiration for the finishing came now...I base my pattern on a cape coat from the 1960's. It has two slits for the arms along the front seams. The upper fabric is a tick wool plaid in brown, burgundy and red. Its a very warm color blend. The lining is a russian wool flower print fabric that I cherish a lot. Between both layers I inserted a coat lining to add warm. This russian coat was made for winter. Its pretty thick, heavy and warm (but it is not puffy). The style of this wool cape is all into the collar. I love big and stylish collars. I added all around some lace guipure that I especially and meticulously hand dyed to fit the colors of the coat. There is flowers applique all along the front closure. I made a flowers brooch, fully embroidered, its removable so you can put it where you want on the cloak and even into your hair. Not to forget, this cape is reversible! So if like me you love so much the lining roses print, you can show it! There is 3 black glass buttons. There is a lot of hand sewing to this pixie coat to made it reversible and for the embellishement.

This red wool cape is one-of-a-kind and will never be duplicated.

I would see that for festivals, for a special wedding or for those beautiful snowy days to go dinner.

***Sizing***
The length of the cape is 36". I would say this will fit one size. The slit for the arms are 9" long.

Frequently asked questions about mynoush

CLOTHING
I recieved many request for custom clothing orders. Unfortunatly, I can't take custom orders. I do not duplicate sold items, or make two items from different sizes. But, I do shorten straps, take a few inches on the sides to make pants or dresses smaller.
This is a question of organisation and space management.

HATS
For hats, I regularly add bunch of new hats so I invite you to come back to see if you can find the color you are searching for.

DREADS BEADS
I do not take custom orders, I do clay once a year in summer. Next dreads beads will come in summer 2016.
I have customers all around the world with different sizing systems. This is why I choose to give key measures of the clothing I make. I could give you an approximation of the US size of cloth, because Im from Canada. But the best way to know if a piece will work for you is to take a similar clothing in your wardrobe and compare its measures to the one in my shop. You can send me your measures, it help. Always remember that you need extra inches to be able to move into a jacket, except for stretch tanks.

If you don't have a ribbon ruler, you can take a piece of thread, yarn of ribbon, non stretch, and report the measure on your flat ruler.
I live in Quebec, Canada. I only work with fiber from canadian farms, trying to encourage local farms as much as possible. I live near a large alpaca farm, so all my alpaca fiber is coming from there. I also work with others canadian farms to work with their fleeces, like angora goats for mohair, and sheeps for lincoln locks, cotswold, corriedale and romney. Im a big fan of textured yarn so I mostly spin directly for the locks to preserve their shape and show their natural beauty. I also dye myself all the yarn.
