Each of these unique coin necklaces is handmade and crafted by determined Ugandan women working to empower themselves.

This coin pendant is from the time of British colonialism in East Africa. In addition to the words "East Africa" and its previous value, each coin is stamped with a date that ranges from 1921-69. This piece of jewelry is not only gorgeous, but each necklace is a wonderful piece of history. This coin is no longer in circulation.

This pendant is fastened with an adjustable died cotton cord.
