A folk art style original painting of Henry David Thoreau with hilly, moonlit pastures in the background.

"Many men walk by day; few walk by night. It is a very different season. Take a July night, for instance. About ten o'clock,—when man is asleep, and day fairly forgotten,—the beauty of moonlight is seen over lonely pastures where cattle are silently feeding."
-Henry David Thoreau, "Night and Moonlight" Essay from the Atlantic Monthly Magazine

Based on Thoreau's above quoted essay "Night and Moonlight". Original acrylic painting on recycled cardboard. The painting is in a stained rustic wood frame (no glass). The frame has a saw tooth hanger on the back. Entire unit is approx. 5x5 inches and will come signed and titled on the back. Easel not included.
