2 1/2" x 1 1/2", 6.4cm x 3.8cm. Individual crystals to 1.8cm. Celestite, a beautiful light blue Sulfate of Strontium decorates this specimen from Monroe Co., Michigan. Spectacular specimen! Usually found in masses of crystals with only the short points showing identifiable crystallization, this specimen boasts individual, fully formed crystals with perfect terminations. Minor Calcite, a Calcium Carbonate, also present in the form of light yellow scalenohedrons. A truly wonderful specimen from this prized locale.
