Vintage Air Force Military Service Lighter 318th Fighter Interceptor Squadron. The 318th Fighter Interceptor Squadron is an inactive United States Air Force unit. Its last assignment was with the 25th Air Division based at McChord AFB, Washington. The squadron was inactivated on 7 December 1989. In November of 1989, two F-15 Eagles from the 318th FIS flew east to engage in the Squadrons last battle, aerial combat with two F-16's from Montana ANG. This battle ended as most did for the 318th, a Green Dragon victory. On the front top lid is engraved with STEW. The lighter is in used condition with the top needing adjustment. It has the Green Dragon seal with 318th FIS on the front and and aircraft on the back. This is a Vulcan made lighter P.O. Box3252 S.F. Calif on the outside and Zippo Bradford PA on the inside lighter. Lighter will be shipped with no fluid.
