who made these boots? a magical woodland elf? Cinderella's super cool fairy godmother? Daniel Day Lewis? (he does practice the art of cobbling after all...)
there are some things the universe never reveals to you I suppose.
regardless (or irregardless) of their maker, these boots have got it going on.

so I present to you this really fantastic pair of boots that I fell so in love with I bought them on a 90 degree day in New Orleans and still felt devastated when I slipped my foot into their soft, shearling interior. Not because it was so damn hot out and I was putting on a pair of boots like a crazy person. but because, alas, they were not meant for me and my size 8 foot.

"But what about me and my roughly size 7 feet?" you may now be asking.
You, my friend, are in luck.

deep caramel brown pebbled leather
rawhide leather lace to thread around 20 centavos coins from the 70s turned into buttons
a layer of shearling on the bottom for your foot to rest on
stacked sole with excellent traction
beautiful hunter green leather scalloped trim
wonderfully made

in great vintage condition - they do have normal wear for their age but they have many voyages left to go on.

They are very well made and sturdy boots. The leather is in great condition and is very soft and supple.

heel to toe (exterior) 9 3/4"
ball width (exterior) 3 1/2"
overall height - 9 1/2"
you can adjust how tight they are - the loosest circumference at the top of the boot would be 13" around

I would say a 7 is a very safe guess. They have no markings at all and I would say they are almost certainly handmade. I suggest you take a pair of boots you have at home and measure the boot itself to see if these will fit you. If you like to wear thick socks then it may be safer to think like these are a small 7 verging on 6 1/2. Just to play it safe.
