Cool detective novel from the 1940s with great retro looking cover.
Published in 1946 by the J.B. Lippincott Company as part of their Mainline Mysteries series.
Only blemish is on inside cover where two previous owners wrote there names (one in pencil, and the other in pen). The cover has a few very small tears, but the overall condition is very good.
The retro cover features a fireman carrying an unconscious woman out of a smoke filled room.
Would make a great gift for the firefighter in your life!
256 pages of genuine who-dun-it!
Measures: 5 1/4" X 7 3/4" (13cm X 20cm).
