This great mid-century toucan figurine by Carlos Villanueva, a winner of the National Ceramics Prize in 1978, is finished in a sophisticated combination of light tan, dark sage green, rust, and brown colors and beautiful, graphic, modernist patterns.

Near-mint condition. Signed "Carlos Villanueva" on the bottom.
