ONE vintage Afghan tribal upper arm band. Made by Kuchi nomads of base metal alloy and colored glass. This is ethnic costume jewelry. It is not fine jewelry and it is not silver. Fun and funky heavy weight tribal arm band features engraved metal and colored glass inserts. Pashtun are the majority ethnic group in Afghanistan. Excellent costume accessory for tribal belly dance.

SIZE: Dimensions are approximate. Inside diameter 4 1/4" x 2 3/4" with 10 1/2" inside circumference. Bracelet measures 1/2" wide. Engraved front face 2 1/8" x 1 7/8". Bracelet does not open, but slides over the arm to fit.

WEIGHT: Approx 297 grams (10.4 ounces)

COLOR: As shown in the photo. Actual color may vary depending on your monitor.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition despite age and wear. Metal is worn in some areas. Metal needs a really good cleaning. This goes with the territory with vintage Afghan jewelry.

COMPOSITION: Base metal alloy containing copper, aluminum, steel, coin silver and other metals, may contain nickel, glass.

ORIGIN: From Northwest Pakistan, mid to late 20th century.
