Paella Nesting Pans Made in Poland
Mid-Century
'Teapot S' Mark

A 4-piece set of Polish enameled ware, cast iron paella pans in wonderful condition. Interchangeable handle included!

The distinctive aspect of these wonderful pans is their Polish craftmanship. This particular company manufactured enamelware before and after the war. I look for "Teapot S" enamelware pieces to feature in the shop.

The medium-weight, jewel-toned pans were manufactured in Poland and imported sometime midcentury. The Teapot Mark on the back has an "S" centered within it and reads "Made in Poland." Polish craftsmen are considered some of the finest makers of enamel cookware. (If you will recall, Oscar Schindler's factory was originally an enamelware plant.)

Clues to their age:
- Paella pans from the 60's and 70's had stainless steel rims along the edge, protecting the enamel.

- Later midcentury colors leaned towards pastels.
- The logo on the bottom is embossed, not just printed, on the surface. Later pieces by this same company did not emboss the maker's mark.

These enameled, cast-iron pans are in great vintage condition. Some utensil marks appear in the enamel of the red pan. These may be from storage.

The handle attaches to the handles easily to form a skillet handle. It is extremely well-designed and easy to use.

These are beautiful serving pans. They will make an impact.

As collector's items, these pieces will form a bright wall grouping to complement a vintage retro kitchen or dining room.

Beautiful vintage Polish craftsmanship.
