Please note before ordering that for the time being I only take money orders and checks, I hope to be joining etsy's checkout when available.

This unusual and handsomely historical teapot measures a little less than 6.5" tall and from handle to spout around 7.5". New, I think never used, with the original paperwork, mesh strainer and UPC label still attached to the bottom. Some marks or scuffing on the base around the edge probably from being on a store shelf (last photo) . There is a small sort of indent on the bottom ring but it's smooth so I'm guessing it's from the factory. Looking at how the UPC has faded I would say it's about 20 years old. And all the gilding is in fine shape probably from not having been washed yet.

It's got a lovely shape with the baroque dome of St. Paul's acting as a lid. The manufacturer is still making similar pieces with different buildings as the pot. I think this is one of the more attractive and interesting. It says it's MADE IN ENGLAND and a lot of the English manufacturers are starting to have their fine english bone china made in India, Indonesia and other Asian lands. Funny that china started there and now seems to be ending there.

I do not do returns or exchange but will gladly send more photos to help make a decision. I thoroughly inspect everything I sell before it goes out. Of course, if you live in the Boston area, you can always pick up and check out.

I would ship this in a priority mail medium flat rate box.
