This chic and stylish lamp by Stiffel from the1960-70's with a solid wood base has been rewired (new cord, polarized plug, 3-way switch socket) and comes with a pristine, high quality, original Stiffel shade. The wood base is either teak or similar Asian hardwood, with varied grain and rich red-hue tone. Slender neck in black completes the design of the base. New cord and socket; original harp and finial. The original shade in "cafe au lait" has a very sophisticated pleated design, quality construction and a very solid feel. Creates beautiful, warm light. This lamp would add a touch of sophistication to any Danish modern, transitional, or contemporary decor.

Excellent to near mint condition. Original finial and harp have oxidation consistent with age. Wood is in beautiful condition. The new socket takes a variety of bulbs up to 250W, incl. energy efficient bulbs. Considering the shade design and the 3-way capability, would probably work best with a 3 way 50-100-150W bulb (not included).

The shade is marked "Stiffel" on the round plate which goes under the finial.

Dimensions:
Lamp overall incl. shade: 26" tall
Shade: 11" tall; 9 1/4" diameter at the top; 14 1/2" diameter at the bottom
Lamp base (to the base of socket): 17" tall, 5 3/4" diameter on the bottom

Shipping in 2 boxes, with shade in a separate box to minimize potential for damage in transit.
