I made these antler earrings from two small slices of shed deer antlers. I sanded the pieces super-smooth and coated them with lacquer to the give them a nice shine. The color and subtle markings are interesting. I like the small dark rim around each piece. The edges were rounded just a tad for a softer feel.

The diameter of each earring is a tad less than 1/2 in. (1.27 cm.) A surgical stainless steel post is securely glued into a small indentation on the back of each piece.

Natural, organic, and subtle.
