This is a house mobile we affectionately call The Neighborhood.

I hand cut the houses from cracker and cereal boxes then put torn pieces of paper mache on them. After they were dry I painted them with acrylics and sprayed them with laquer.

Each home while painted a particular color, is painted in different shades of that color on every side. So depending on the light, and on which way the house is facing, it will appear different.

The little yellow house has a hand made old fashioned antenna attached.

The homes are light weight, so the mobile moves with very little air flow.

This is really a fun piece to have in a room. It speaks to your heart, about, well, -- home.

Measures approximately 28" X 28".

Thank You for Looking :)
