Darjeeling produces some of the world's best teas. Connoisseurs have always regarded it highly, and often describe it as the champagne of teas. We welcome you to try one of our Darjeelings, and know why this is such a sought after tea in the world.

This is a classic First Flush (spring harvest) Darjeeling with layers of subtle flavors. It has a pleasant fruity- floral bouquet, with a good balance of sweet notes and a dry briskness.

DRY TEA: Generally greyish green, tippy and with a bloom (resulting from fine pubescence from the leaves). The latter indicates quality plucking of leaves from the bushes.

INFUSION: A delicate lime green, some spots of light copper. The nose (fragrance exuded by the infused leaf, also termed as aroma, bouquet) is peachy.

CUP: Golden-amber liquor that has a refreshing floral fragrance with a well balanced astringency. The sweet aftertaste lingers.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Use a teaspoon of tea for a cup . Steep in freshly boiled water for 3 minutes. Strain before drinking.

For packaging I use heat sealed foil pouches. This preserves the flavor of the tea longer. The pouch also has resealable ziplock for your convenience.
