Regardless of what diaper bag you choose, you’ll likely want the same arsenal of tools to help you change your baby. Use a large custom diaper bag to fit everything, and be tactical in how you arrange things; for example, frequently used things and emergency items should be in easy-to-grab locations.
Start with diapers, baby wipes, and rash cream. Include hand sanitizer, a changing pad, and toys you can use to distract your child. Have some plastic bags on hand for soiled diapers and used wipes. A soft blanket or two can keep your baby warm and comfortable when weather changes or if you stay out longer than you anticipated. Snacks and a sippy cup are great to have on hand but you may also want a burp cloth, a bib, and a change of clothes such as a onesie to pop your kid into.
